Who are the founders of Currency Hub?

David Farelo (CEO) founded CURRENCY HUB in 2018. He has 15+ years in Investment Management and Fintech operations, portfolio management, equity & derivative trading experience, while also trading crypto (PA) since 2016.

Two new directors joined CURRENCY HUB in 2023: 

Warren Deats serves as the CFO and Head of Risk, focused on developing and supporting the trading activities. Warren has a long career in markets trading and risk management having worked for Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Barclays in Africa, Asia and Europe. His experience as a Managing Director overseeing Cash Equity and Cross Product trading is vital to ensure we manage our risks appropriately.

Ashton Hayes serves as the COO with a focus on ongoing projects and also supporting the trading activities. Ashton has worked alongside CURRENCY HUB since its inception as a trader. With his experience in project management and detailed knowledge of our infrastructure he’s involved in the development of our UX, trading and operational systems.
